I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my opinions on the ferret population. I apparently got the mistaken impression that the shelters were all becoming crowded because people were buying kits , tiring of them, and then getting rid of them at shelters. I do honestly believe there are breeders who do it strictly out of love. Perhaps I neglected to mention it because they're already doing what's right, you can't "fix" that. I know that the overpopulation of shelters doesn't compare in the least to the problems with dogs and cats and I hope that it never does. Isn't there a bit of concern that unless things change now that it could end up like that? ~Liz~ ICQ#24420186 [log in to unmask] http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/2469/liz.html [Posted in FML issue 2522]
