Does anyone know of a good feret vet around Little Rock, Arkansas? Everytime I try to make an appt with mine (usually on Saturdays), he is out of town. I'm in school 5 days a week, so I need one that is open on Saturdays. My 7 y/o female has been experiencing hair loss and swollen vulva for a month now, but this same time last year she had severe hair loss, but regrew it. She went to the vet 2 weeks ago, but he didn't know anything about ferrets, but was willing to learn. I can't have someone learning on her. She is my oldest baby, I know she's sick. She's dehydrated (not severely), and getting Pedialyte. She's been running a fever anywhere from 103-105. I need a vet that I can rely on and knows what s/he is doing. Please email directly. Thank you for your help. [Posted in FML issue 2490]
