When I posted on the Ferret USA '99 Annual and the Ferret magazine (sister publication), I wasn't trying to start a war. It was my opinion and how I feel living in California. Most of you on the list, don't have to live day to day with the fear of being found out and suffer the consequences of CDFG and their intimidation tactics. I take issue of the situation regarding ferrets in it's entirety. I vent my feelings here, with this community of Ferret Guardians, as I would with a friend with an ear to listen. I have never written an inflammatory letter to any company, politician or other entities. I write letters to my legislatures as a Marine wife, and ask what freedom is my husband is to defend (all in politeness). I write letters on the 2 most valuable subjects in my life, Ferrets and our Veterans/MIA/POW's who have shed their blood or gave their lives in order for us to keep our Constitution in tack and not take away the freedoms our fore fathers gave us. If you will look around you day after day, you will find that OUR, the peoples government is letting a minority of people run our Country, not for us-for their own agendas, money, power etc. There are laws written to protect us from ourselves. Is that Freedom? I ask now, how many Voted this year and how many will vote in the years to come? Now back to the Ferret's USA '99 Annual. An editor or any other editor of a MAJOR publication should not be an editor if he/she doesn't have a clue of the subject he is writing about and especially an editor in California. Would you not be disturbed to read an editorial by someone about medicine and he/she is not in the medical profession. The only thing this guy has done is help arm the CDFG and politicians against the ferret owners in California. I still FEEL this guy should make a retraction and apology to the people in California/other FFZ's in the sister publication Ferrets and yes I would threaten (not as in KILL) to pull my subscription. Now I'll get off the soap box and hope this issue is settled. Dooks from the Outlaw Dookmiesters in CaCaLand [log in to unmask] [Posted in FML issue 2508]
