Rabbits do not (extremely rare) carry viruses, most of their problems are bacteria and parasites. Netherland Dwarfs are prone to strokes. All rabbits can be susceptible to heart attacks and intestinal blockages. The only thing to be passed between ferrets and rabbits are the standard ring worm and fleas.
