Well, what can you do? The shop near me is used to me. I get food for
lotsa pets there, and when I walk in I go straight to the fuzzies. I ask
if I may please hold them....they say OK. So then I mention if they are
out of water, ask about why there is no litter pan, about having food all
the time, toys, the flies in the box.....but I just approach it as
innocently as possible.....not like an authority, just chatting with them.
Now when they see me they KNOW I am gonna check things out. And I am
getting a little braver in my approach. I am trying to get a good rapport
with the folks there.....I talk up how cute they are in front of customers,
how the biting is only like baby kittens, and how can they not like all the
advertising I do? To me, this doesn't insult them and they just stay on
their toes more...no need to be a bitch. I think this way they will listen
more.
