Howdy and Dook, Dook folx! I wanted to comment on the post where a person "nuked" the blanket for their fuzzie to help them get warm. BAD IDEA! You were lucky that the blanket didn't catch fire and burn some parts of the kitchen! Just to let you know...many types of blankets are made up of synthetic materials. Even many of those that *aren't* made up of these materials have properties that cause them to melt and burn under certain conditions. Since microwave radiation tends to heat things up by exciting the molecules, it is possible to cause a flash fire inside your microwave. PLEASE don't think that since it didn't happen this time, it won't ever happen. You were lucky this time. Next time, toss the blanket in a clothes dryer for a few minutes to warm it up. This is safer for all concerned. Todd and the (I'm driving the fire truck...No, *I'm* driving! Wait...we don't have a licence to drive! :( ) Fuzzbutt Rodeo Clowns! --- [log in to unmask] "users.success.net/toddl/" [Posted in FML issue 2442]
