Hmmm, if this is the programme with the two hosts (one male, one female - used to be married, therefore same last names) that have people send video copy of their pets and then talk with them via phone connection to discuss the problems and potential ways to fix them... Then... going from what I've seen of the show, I believe there's no way she'd be saying they're wild. I saw a show done by them several months ago and they introduced the ferret segment by saying "This is my favourite pet" for showing video etc... Now... that doesn't seem (to me anyway) that the same people would claim they're wild. I haven't seen the programme you're referring to, so I could be mistaken about which show you're talking about. However, it sounds a lot like the one I'm thinking of... I have heard of another show which aired late last year where they claimed that ferrets were wild. However, that show they had ferrets actually on the 'set' and being handled with thick gloves :o0 - wow, heaven forbid the person gets scratched!! If I'm wrong (which is possible ;o) I'm often wrong!!) then I apologise now. However, I believe it's often a good idea to give people (even those on TV <G>) the benefit of the doubt. She may've even been ready to say they're wildly mischievous hehehe (or she could've been saying they're wild animals that need constant supervision since they steal babies breath and savagely attack Rottweilers in their (the ferrets that is!) sleep <G>) Personally, now that I'm back in New Zealand, I'd like to see *any* mention of ferrets on TV that doesn't say how they viciously attack kiwis, kill native fauna, and are savage wild beasts that'll shred your arm to pieces if you approach them <sigh> and you guys think the publicity in America is bad...
