Hi folks! Thanks to all who gave us helpful info. on assisting our wild little ferrets to adjust to life with people. To others, please try reading the post! Our mail was flooded with letters from people who had not read the info. posted and of course were no help at all. Thanks for trying. We have placed a clock radio in the room with them to get them used to people noise, the vet came by and checked their ears etc.. they have a clean bill of health, other than minor symptoms of neglect that some TLC and good food will fix right up. They have managed to find themselves names: The hob is Charlie Chomplin, (He favours the left thumb) Charlie is a lovely dark sable hob with a liver nose & a white patch under his chin, The lager jill is Ms.Britches, Britches is the same colours as her brother except that she has little white patches on her hind knees, The tiny jill is Dragonfly, She is smaller than the other 2 She is several shades darker, so dark she is almost black, but obviously a rich dark brown, (I didn't know brown could be so dark). Her nose is the same colour as her body, we named her Dragonfly because of the way she flits around when startled. They were on raw feed so there was no way to switch their food gradually of course this means they have the runs, other than that, and the fact that I'm running out of bandaids we're all fine.
