Thought I'd share a nice story with everyone.

I was checking my home answering machine from work on a Monday morning when
I found a message that went "Help, I've found 2 ferrets and need someone to
take them". I immediately called the phone number left on the message.
Turns out this guy had gone to church Sunday morning, and outside there
were two ferrets playing. A basket was sitting next to the church and it
appeared the ferrets had been brought in the basket. This guy knew they
were ferrets, but wasn't sure how to care for them. He said he feared for
their lives because they kept playing in the street and cars were just
missing hitting them. At one point the ferrets even decided to join church
services and ran thru the church. Finally this guy was able to catch the
ferrets. Unfortunately he had to work that day, so he put them in a trash
can, inside a larger trash can, and put them inside his truck. He was very
careful to make sure they stayed very cool. The next day he started making
phone calls and was able to reach someone in his area who could pick up the
ferrets.

As he told this story I thought about how someone had to be watching over
those ferrets that day. To have them dumped at the church, not hit by a
car, not lost in the fields nearby, or turned into animal control, but
picked up by this guy who cared very much for their safety and health.

Thank you to the angel in human form.
