I was thrilled to finally read a post about MF that reflects my philosophy. I agree 100% with Sukie Crandall post from issue #1998-2355. I believe that you have better chances to get results by seeking a compromise that would benefit the business and its customers and by lobbying to changes laws. Here is an example of a small change done by a Canadian co.: cedar chips in their ferret starter kit has been replaced by another wood. Ferret owners wrote to the company to complain about the cedar. I do not know if some of them suggested the company to switch or not, but it would have been an effective approach. You have to keep in mind that you deal with a company that sells pet products and suggest if possible an alternative that is acceptable to you and the business.
