Yes! Since 1979, I've had 6 fuzzbutts. Two of them got adopted out. Two
of them, Pokey and Gidget, died of old age (7-8 years old). Aside from
Pokey suffering a broken shoulder in an unfortunate play accident (he
recovered totally), there were no unexpected vet visits. In their younger
years, Pokey and Gidget were fed Meow Mix(!), since I had a more limited
knowledge then, and there was not as much good information available on
ferrets. I've had my current kids, Flower & Chester, for a year and a half
now. They're
both adopted MF babies, two years old each, and I've had absolutely no
health problems with them. Long live Flower, Queen of the Ferrets! (...and
her loyal subject, Lord Chesterfield)
