That is the >way of things. From what I was told, vets keep donor dogs and cats around the office as pets and when donations are needed they take some blood from the donor animal. They don't take so much that it kills the animal. At least as far as I know. One vet I know keeps donor ferrets, too, often using her own animals. --Barb-- [Posted in FML issue 2329]
