Hello to all the fuzzy lovers out there. With the weather being so great here in New England today we rode up to Maine and picked up our new cage. I special ordered a cage to put in the motorhome. But, that was done before last weekend and we came home from N. Conway ferret frolic with TWO new ferrets. But, let me just say you all should be very proud of me today!! I didn't give in and bring home one of the tiny babies that I played with and loved. There was a black female, a silvermitt, female, an albino, female and last and the sweetest was a champagne male that ALMOST stole my heart. They are about six weeks old. One bad thing was they were in shavings. I did say very nicely that they shouldn't be and why. He told me that MF ships them in shavings and that was why he kept them in it. He does feed them 8 and 1 ferret and had neve heard of TF. I am sending him information that I think he desperatly could learn from. The babies were plenty healthy even though they are so young. They were very playful and their stools looked good. I checked them all out and gave them my appoval!!!! For what it was worth anyway. This place is a pet distributer for Maine and I don't think anyone else brings in ferrets. He sells them to all the pet stores there. He has great cages and lots of ferret things in his store. He does go to all the fairs and questioned about coming to any ferret shows and fun days if I would send him the info. He will make any sorta of cage you want and the prices are great. He had some there that were about five feet tall with all sorts of levels. I do have his phone number if anyone is interested. He gave us floors to fit our large cage and when we got home we really up set all the ferrets. Put Blossom, Flower, Snowball, and Nala in the large cage and Burglar and Missitoo in a smaller one. Everyone is confused and Missitoo is MAD as usual. Guess I have gone on enough for now Love and Fuzzie kisses to all Penny [Posted in FML issue 2310]
