Ferrets are becoming ever-popular!! I'm not an avid television fan, but on learning that there was due to be some appearance by a ferret on a show due on... I felt compelled to watch ;o) ... ahhh ferret addiction rears it's head hehe The show was "Casualty" - set in a hospital in the UK somewhere - sorry the people who know this show, I've never watched before!! A boy came into the hospital pretending to be sick... and showed his ferret to one of the doctors because Lancelot (the ferret) hadn't been eating the past few days. Needless to say, the staff (most of them) fell in love with dear Lancelot, however, the ferret, as all ferrets are prone... escaped! Imagine this... doctors, nurses and a little boy running around looking for a loose ferret in a busy A&E (Accident and Emergency) section of a hospital - trying not to let the ferret be seen!! (Something about health regulations ;o) ) Needless to say, the ferret was seen several times, the supervisor had to be told ("A WHAT? Aren't they those things that bite and crawl up your trousers?") and escaped capture several times. Finally, Lancelot appeared (courtesy of a woman's scream!! hahahaha) complete with a pursefull of little squeaky babies <G> Guess Lancelot was more of a Guinevere hehe Needless to say, purse, ferret and kits were taken into custody. One more appearance by the ferret, now 'safely caged', heralded comments of "You know, stroking animals is supposed to be good for you?" and "What? Sorry madam, we couldn't resuscitate your husband, but here's a small furry rodent to pet" followed along with a picture of mama Lancelot/Guinevere holding a kit in her mouth. Oh well, not all was perfect (rodent comment) but they did use real ferret kit sounds! That amazed the heck out of me hehe So, all in all, a good appearance, made a lot of fun with the mere thought of what trouble a ferret could get into if the situation was real! Ahhh, they always show good things just before I leave ;o) thankfully not just after! Maybe one of these days I'll get around to packing. Heavens, I have a whole two days to start thinking of it hehe Sam Ferrets are my life - Ferrets are for me They get me into strife - They make me feel so free!! (Ah, probably because they steal everything!) Email the criminals and I at [log in to unmask] or visit at http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~fanmail/ and hope I get it... Before they do!
