Vomiting: If the ferret is vomiting, it can mean an obstruction (hair ball, foreign object), upset stomach (ulcer) or the first sign of ECE. What does your ferret's stool look like? Is it thin and stringy (obstruction), dark and tarry (ulcers) or greenish and snotty (ECE)? Obstruction - as long as the ferret continues to eat on it's own, administer laxative one hour before or after eating to help coat the object and get it to pass through. If ferret stops eating or pooping, get to a vet ASAP. Ulcers - need Amoxicillian (vet) and slippery Elm in a gruel supplement (duck soup). ECE - treat same as ulcers, just watch out for dehydration and needs electrolite supplement (Pediolite) and possible fluid injections. Once you tell me more, I can help direct better.
