Hello to all ferret lovers.I am a new member and am having a bit of difficulty with my furry friends. I have three ferrets. Elvis is my fat boy,he is 2 years old and is very full of enery like most young ferrets his age, he's my baby. Next comes Ariel and she is my dainty girl, I bought her a few months ago from a couple who decided that they just didn't want her anymore, she is 4 years old and is not playful at all. My thoughts are on this is that she wasn't played with enough, because she seems to be coming around more the longer that she is here. That's not my problem though, I believe that Ariel will be just fine the more that she gets out to play. My problem is that just recently I bought a baby 9 weeks old her name is Tiki and she is precious. I was worried when I first brought her home wondering how the othe ferrets would react to her and there was no problem, except elvis loves to play with her and she loves to play right back with him. However I'm not sure if he's being to rough or not. When they're playing once in awhile i'll here her making noises that sound like she's whining so i'll go over to break them up and as soon as i do she turns right around and starts nipping at him again. I know Elvis is not trying to hurt her by any means, however he is a bit larger than most ferrerts and especially to her. Do you think this is something that I should worry about or is this something that or will nature just handle this itself? One more thing Elvis and Tiki are a different type of ferret from Ariel, could you tell me how to tell which type of ferrets they are. I've tried books at the library, but they weren't much help thanks for the help Diana [Posted in FML issue 2241]
