I found a site that for those of you who have ferret get-togethers might enjoy. It's a card game called "Go Ferret." You make the cards yourself out of cardboard. In this card game, you pretend to be a black-footed ferret going about the business of survival. To survive, you must depend on your ability to breed successfully in captivity and stay out of harm's way in the wild. Like, are you swift enough to escape predators who'd like to eat you? Can you escape a deadly disease that threatens to wipe out your whole family? To start, deal five cards to each player. The aim of the game is to get five S (survival) cards and get rid of all your E (extinction) cards. Start to the left of the dealer. Each player takes a turn, discarding one E card from your hand and picking another card from the deck placed in the center of the table. The first player to get five S cards and shout "Go Ferret!" wins the game. There are master card pages, one for S & E, which you print out and glue to your cardboard cards. Anyway, that's the jest of it. If you're interested, here's the URL: http://www.pbs.org/wttw/web_newexp/newexp_web_pages/new_tg_sect3.html Ferret Hugs & Kisses, Toni Dinky(go ferrets!)
