Hi fellow Canadians out there. For years we have sat back, feeling sorry
for our American neighbors who were dealing with ECE. Now, we are feeling
sorry for ourselves. ECE has popped up in Ottawa, Hamilton and now Toronto
too. Most recently in our shelter with Oso and Isis crossing the bridge.
The conformation came today with Oso's pathology report coming in.

Since I'm new at dealing with ECE, could someone out there enlighten me as
to where I go now? We have over 25 ferrets in the shelter right now, with
most still showing signs of grainy poop. The others are fine.

The ECE that sprung up in Hamilton was brought home from touching some kits
in a petstore who were not showing signs. Please people, be careful when
touching other ferrets. If you must touch other ferrets, please shower and
wash your clothes before you touch or play with your babies.
