Hi there! Well, I read your message about your problem with your SO's daughter and I have to agree with Derek and Amy. It's YOUR house not hers and the ferrets are part of your family and were in the house before the daughter. If she doesn't want them in her stuff, she should keep her bedroom door closed. Just curious though, is she paying rent or paying for her own groceries while she's staying with you??? If she isn't, she should view herself as *especially* lucky to have a roof over her head, etc and less worries and concerns so she can concentrate on her studies. College is not cheap - I know this - I had to live away from home when I was in school and had to pay for rent, groceries, bills, etc and there were *many* days when I missed not having dinner made for me, my laundry done for me (hey, my mom thought I'd blow up the kitchen/washing machine!!) and just the company of family. Tell her to stop wasting her time and energy on complaining and count her blessings! She can always find friends to move in with if she's that worried about her stuff ... Just my 2 cents worth!
