Hello everyone, Gina Hart and myself, are trying to compose a listing of local Pennsylvania Health Departments, Shelters, Hospital Emergency Rooms, and Non AVMA Vets so that we may distribute the 1998 Compendium to them. Thus far we have composed quite a list (mostly Gina has). 179 addresses of Shelters, Hospital Emergency Rooms and Shelters. And I still need to get to the library again to get more addresses. I have use of a copier, to make the copies of the Compendium and the cover letter. (at the cost of toner and paper) Krystie (of Krysties Ferret Fun), who is also from Pennsylvania, she is willing to help any way possible. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there from Pennsylvania who would be interested in helping us. If anyone can get a list of AVMA Vets, and email it to myself or Gina, it would be appreciated. (I'm having trouble getting a copy). Any kind of help that could be given would be greatly appreciated. Anyone interested can email me at [log in to unmask] or Gina at [log in to unmask] On another note .... I sit here watching Dink, (1.5 lb female albino ferret) she's chasing Jazz (90 lb female rottweiler) around the room. This only last for a minute or 2 til Dink gets bored. Jazz, trying her hardest to stay away from Dink, and not step on her while looking at me as if to say .... MA make her stop, I don't want to play. Dink looks at me as if to say ... Ma make her stop, I want to play with her toes. Jazz from time to time does play with the ferrets. I call her my gentle giant (compared to the ferrets). Jazz's first home was an abusive one, she was kept in a very small kennel, and not feed right. She has a scare on her nose from trying to get out of the kennel. She has never bitten, she is super loving, and I couldn't ask for a better dog. While Dink is chasing the dog, Tigg (female Sable ferret) is up on the entertainment center trying to steal my Tender Tails. (Precious Moments Beanie babies) She is fond of the bear and thinks it is her. Thanks all Robin [Posted in FML issue 2213]
