Hi, all. Well, we're having some interesting times here. Squirt broke with green diarrhea last week. Other symptoms were vomiting (once) and rear-end weakness. She is much better now, and seems almost totally recovered. The vet diagnosed probable ECE, and we're waiting to see if anyone else in the business becomes ill. We can't figure out where it came from, since we haven't been around anything or anyone <g> suspicious! My question, however, is about Squeaker, our 5 year old who had a cancerous insulinoma removed in July. She has been doing really well, but last week, she began peeing in mass quantities, and it was all water -- no color to it at all. The vet did a sugar test, and the sugar in her *urine* was high. However, a blood glucose was done, and it was 65 -- *low*! She is on antibiodics now incase there was an infection, but the vet said it was also possible that "something" was wrong with her kidneys that was causing her to spill sugar in her urine. What would cause that? What do these test results mean? I am going to take a bigger urine sample in tomorrow, so they can truly test for infection, but my instincts tell me that *isn't* the problem, since her urine was so close to colorless. Can anyone hazard a guess about what's going on? -Tasha Please visit my fanfiction site at http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Chamber/5368/...
