Murphy ferret came into my care at the end of the ILL Breeder event. His mommy called me, concerned because he was not walking right. He could not support his rear end on flat floors or for long time. A vets exam provided the answer of an injured disc earlier. It had healed. He was put into a small cage so he would not have to move to accomplish a living. The floor of the cage was carpeted. His strenght came back. He once again was able to run and dance on carpted floors. But no more with me, for Monday evenning in one of the worst snow storms, he curled up in my arms closed his eyes went to sleep and crossed the rainbow bridge. While here he was befriended by a young lady also with a walking disability. Murphy may you dook and dance forever. We will miss you dearly. [Posted in FML issue 2149]
