It would be good if any of the large breeders have shifted to the released kits being somewhat older. There are some other positive aspects which could be used in sales (and therefore in convincing breeders to do so): the worst of the teething nipping is over with older kits, they have matured to the point of engaging in social play which looks good, they are comfortable on their solid food so won't be horrifying viewers by displaying prolapsed rectums, they have had more time being better socialized to humans by the breeders before they go to those pet stores which might with younger kits have clue-less folks destroy the socializing. Seeing good and economically viable reasons to sell them later (with breeders then being able to neuter later when it's actually easier for all) might help convince larger breeders that this is a great trend.
