Time: 1900 Date: September 25, 1997 Place: Rick Robins Residence I arrived there and saw Mr Robins out watering the pigs pen. I made some casual conversation. Then he said, "What are you doing with the ferrets?" I replied, "I am using them for research involving toxic and nontoxic plants. I can't use guinea pigs because I am allergic to them. So far I am not reacting to ferrets." He stated he received a call from Mary VanDamn in Chicago telling him what was wrong with eash of the ferrets. And the description matched the first group I bought. I said yes the Jill and kit did go there because I couldn't give it round the clock care. Then he simply said, "There are no more ferrets" also that he heard it was on the internet and he had recieved calls from other states. I thanked him and left. I cannot go back because he no longer trusts me. All non-monetary donations will be given to the shelter in Arkansas which accepted the last group of 11 fuzzies. After all expenses are paid remaining donations will be held and donors informed of what they would like to have done. I am going to recommend remaining money be sent to help the Shelter in Florida.
