Hello all! As the leaves begin to change colors so do the fuzzies. Jasper is no longer a white/cream and grey colored badger ferret. His stripe on his head is still white as well as his face but the rest of him has changed! His underfur is now a golden yellowish orange color and his guard hairs are black. A friend came for a visit and totally didn't recognize him in his new coat. I must say this is one of my favorite things about my fuzzies. Twice a year it's like getting a new one! I always wait like a kid at christmas to see what new colors they will be for part of the year. Tavi goes in to have her skin tumor removed Thursday at 8:00am so keep her in your thoughts. This is relatively minor surgery but I always worry some terrible complication will arise. I'm thinking of getting her a little fur tupee<sp?> so the other ferrets won't make fun of her bald head when she returns. Maybe this is a bad idea, they might tease her more with the tupee than without it. Tupee or not tupee, that is the question. Ferret love to all. Laura and The Quartet [Posted in FML issue 2074]
