Someone asked about ferret proofing beds, and I see today where someone had a ferret that got in trouble with a bed that was not ferret proofed. It's Murphy's Law for Ferrets If a ferret can get in trouble, it will. What I did with my bed and my couch also was go to the hardware store and buy some quarter inch hardware cloth. I used a carpenters staple gun and stapled this to the bottom of the couch and the bed and then used wire cutters to cut it to fit. I don't have to worry about them getting in the bottom of either one now. Of course, I still have to watch to make sure Gypsy doesn't go down through the top of the couch to get inside, but it is a whole lot easier when I know there is no way they can get in the bottom. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ? / \ / _____ \ ? ?
