Epstein my ferrett (male - neutered- sable-one year old) has learned a new cute trick and I thought it was worth sharing .... I've been finding him in the kitchen sick over and over again and had no idea how he was getting up and in ... a secret ferret transporter pehaps? Last night I watched him .... First he useds his paws to open the cabinet under the sink. (All the cleaning products and chemicals have been moved from under the sink to the broom closet.) He's been playing under there for months (its where we store paper bags).... once inside the cabinet he apparently climed up on the sink piping and jumped into the back of the upper draw of the cabinet. Inside the draw - Epstein rolled on to his back - and grabbed the lip of the cabinet with his front paws. He then pushed and pushed and pushed until the draw rolled open. He climbed out of the draw - over the clean dished in the dish drain and into the sink.. and began to splash around in the frying pan that my roomate left to soak. It was very cute to watch ... this draw slowly and silently slid open ... a little head popped out and then a whole ferret. Of, course I had to duct tape the draw and cabinet closed (he'll start playing with knives soon if he has free access to dishes) ... but I was very proud of his new found skill. Has anyone encountered a ferret who learned to open the Fridge? Epstein loves to climb in there and I fear that next he'll learn how to open that door. :) Cynthia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cynthia M.
