Well I will introduce my self, I have be subscribed to the FML for about a year and a half, but I have only posted once. Well I have Three carpet sharks, Yasir - 1 year and 8 months old male, Mookie - 1 year and 6 months old Female, and Kermit - 5 months old male. Well about a few months ago, Mookie started to lose weight, and then suddely stoped losing weight, but never gained the lost weight back. I have been watching her eat a good sized meal almost every day ( Im not around to see her eat every time ). She eats, poops, and plays fine, in fact lately she has been playing more so than usual. I thought that the reason she was losing weight was because I adopted Kermit (you know, Stress). Both happend about the same time. But tonight I picked here up and notice that the hair on her tail was begining to thin. She still has hair on her tail, but I can see the skin. Not the entire tail, just the first inch or two. Im going to make an appointment at my vet. What I want to know is.. Should I be worried.. Should I put a rush on the vet visit With the given information, what do you think it is.. PS Im sorry to say that I rarely read the FML. You know the story, college student who goes to school full time and works almost full time. Kept it around for ocations like this.. :) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = --------======== <> ========-------- - - Santo Vasquez "Duct tape is like the force, it has = = [log in to unmask] a light side, a dark side and it - - http://corona.unomaha.edu/~svasquez holds the Universe together" - ??? = = --------======== <> ========-------- - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= [Posted in FML issue 1985]
