Hi folks!! We just gotted a chance to check our mail for the first time in a long ol' time. Well now, we was mighty surpriseticated to learn that some folks was writin' to us and askin' if us and our Paw Paw had be done kicked the bucket!! Hmmm. If we had, reckon who woulda read them letters? Anyways, we is all fine - includin' them high fallootin' cat type critters that we ain't managed to run off yet. It seems that the Old Fert and Mee Maw be done went and gotted all covered up with pooter work to do for customers of their pooter bizzness. They's been a'workin' some dreadful awful hours and just ain't been too much fun lately. We's been doin' our bestest to help them out - specially when the Old Fool gets up from the pooter for a stretch or a scratch - forgetting that his left hind laigbone don't work no more. He flops and hollers, even makes bad smells, hopin' that Mee Maw or us will notice that he's actin' pitiful and will do somethin' about it. Mee Maw just ignores him on account of because that she's knowed him longer than us has. We jumps in and gives him the attention that he's askin' for - on account of because he thinks he needs it. We sticks our noses up his nose holes and into his earbones and sneezes just as loud as we cans. Dependin' on just how pitiful he's actin', we gives him mouth-to-mouth redistribution sometimes. If'n none of that don't work, we commences to havin' one heckuva wardance all over his body, face, and fambly parts. That's usually gets him back to work! So, we's all still here - just so busy that we can't remember whether or not we should scratch our watches or wind our rear ends. Many much loves to all our ferret, critter, and human-type friends. Many much prayers, comforts, and healing thoughts to anybody who needs them this day. Paw Paw and us pray to the Father Spirit of the Native Americans. Mee Maw's an Episcopalian. We think that the cat-type-critters are Bhuddists. We ain't real sure about that possum that keeps stealin' stuff outa the dryer, but we're sure that his prayers are heard too. Joy to the World!
