Certainly this is not the only answer, and definately not a very good answer
IMHO.  Aside from the fact that this seems like a disgusting practice (but
hey, I'm not a dog, so what do I know), I would tend to think that there
would be a health risk here (any of the vets care to comment?).  Besides,
Ferret "misses" are hardly much of a chore to clean up.  If anyone of you
have had a cat with hairballs, I think you know what I'm saying.  To me this
just sounds like a lazy way of handling the problem, and I would not
encourage anyone to follow this example.
