Greetings from Portland, Oregon!

As many of you are aware, the Oregon Ferret Assoc is raffling a quilt at our
Fun Match in August. The proceeds will benefit the ferret shelter we
support.

We are making very good progress. We need 48 blocks and are just about
halfway to our goal. I am impressed with the craftsmanship of the quilt
blocks, and think you will be too.

The OFA's website now has an area where you can view some of the quilt
blocks. You'll see an Australian black swan, an Australian brush possum,
Grandmother's Fan, sulfur crested cockatoo, Log cabin, Blue wren, and
several more. We will be updating the site with more blocks about every
week to 10 days. Coming soon: Squirrel, rainbow lorikeet, Australian
echidna, ferrets, and hummingbird.

To get to the OFA's website, go to:

We hope you will be inspired to donate a quilt block(s) or purchase a raffle
ticket or two.

Thanks
Sandy Streit and Amy Evers
