Tryntje Miller asked: >If a whole male is vasectomized, will anything change, except for his >his ability to reproduce? Will he still be as aggressive ... ? Nothing will change except his ability to fertilize a jill. His scent, behavior, and personality should stay exactly the same. In general terms, in a vasectomy, the tubes which lead from where sperm are produced to where they leave the body are blocked or severed. All the other glands and body parts are completely intact; the vasectomized ferret functions normally, but no sperm come out. [Posted in FML issue 1890]
