Hi Everyone, Well, I couldn't believe it. I walked up to the computer just in time to see the Pooksters running off, chuckling. Now, seeing her at the computer is no big deal, she is quite good at using it. But *chuckling*! In case you don't remember, Pookie has severe hearing loss (Bob says she is deaf, I disagree). Anyway, I have never heard here chuckling before! And she has lived with me since last August. She hisses, and will scream on occassion but this is a first. It makes me very happy. This has been a month of firsts for her. She has decided to play with Kane, my skinny butt cat. She chases him all over and has quite a time of it. Kane is under the mistaken impression that he is a ferret, he joined the household after Stan and Ollie did. Pooks has also decided to attack my feet now. She has always licked them in bed, cleaned my socks for me but now she is out and out attacking me. Yes, it makes me very happy because when I first got her she was scared of everything. Her hearing loss affects her socialization skills. She is a completely different fert than she used to be. I have spent the day sleeping and playing with the guys. Was suppose to go back to school today but have been very ill. Started out with a migraine but now seem to have some kind of tummy bug. And no, this hard headed Celtic woman did *not* go drinking last night. ;-) And remember, if you need any supplements or herbs, I am leaving for Houston on Friday. And no Georgia, I hope to avoid using a duffle bag and white cane to smuggle ferts with! Although everyone I have run that idea by agrees it fits right in with my personality. Can you be insulted when they agree with you? Mo' Maggie and the Marvelous Mid Missouri Maniacs [Posted in FML issue 1876]
