To Laura with the CWFF: My husband brought our 3-month old ferret Fresca from Memphis to New York on Northwest. We were given a lot of misinformation about traveling with her -- the fact is, ferrets have to go in cargo (unlike dogs et al. which can travel in the cabin.) You need a vet certificate of health (i.e. proof of rabies vaccination) and must pay a $50 surcharge when you check in. Good luck with the rescue! [Posted in FML issue 1885]
