>We are leaving town in April for about 6 days-it's a real *have to*.... >What I'm concerned about is how the ferrets will do away from home and away >from us???? Will they be stressed??? I've had to leave mine a couple times now for a vacation. Mine were still in their own cage, but were not getting the kind of attention they normally get. I think they'll be a little stressed but if they all stay together, it will be less stressful. Take some bedding for them with your scent on it, and I bet that will help. I'm sure they'll view it as an adventure. >Will they remember me after 6 days??? We've never had to leave them like >this and I'm pretty worried. What experiences have you all had about this? Oh yes, they'll still remember you! :) Even my non-kissy ferrets let me know they were glad to see me! :) I've had more trouble with my dog refusing to eat while I was gone than the ferrets. They seem to do just fine, really. --Barb-- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- Barbara Carlson Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA [log in to unmask] Work: (412) 268-1342 Home: (412) 481-5927 http://www.gsia.cmu.edu/andrew/bcarlson/home.html (under construction) Thought for the day: If "boring women have immaculate homes," I must be very interesting! -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- [Posted in FML issue 1854]
