I was just on the State Assembly home page and noticed the ferret bill
now has a number! The Bill Number is AB363 introduced on 2-19-97.
If you go to the Assembly home page and find the bill :
http://ais3.assembly.ca.gov/acs/acsframeset2.htm
 
You can subscribe to the bill and they will notify you via e-mail of any
votes or changes in the bill and you can then track it through the whole
process...
