Hi Everyone.. a while back Jim March was here and he told you about a rescue he went on with me.. to pick up two fuzzys with adrenal disease... one advanced and one in the beginning stages.. both in dreadful condition.. the advanced case.. Miss Minnie.. has nearly doubled in weight to almost two pounds.. and no longer looks like thin skin stretched over sharp bones with brillo pad fur here and there.. the fur is soft [not any more of it, but none more lost] and she is padded out.. she plays non-stop and is a fuzzy for the first time.. everything so natural to my kids is a new joy to her.. toys, blankies, treats, free roaming, excellent eats [and Woozle Goo thru the syringe 3 times a day .. at first only 10 cc's would fit.. now 30 cc's go in just dandy] and snuggling up under the covers right under my chin to be petted to sleep at night... her skin is soft and no more sores.. and her broken teeth are coated so they don't hurt anymore.. she is one happy fur kid.. and who is the patient.. let's her beat him up.. jump on him.. try to drag him around.. steal his treat.. mooch his favourite blankie... and snatch his toys??? none other than Frosty.. my 4 lb. Gib Silver Mitt.. who is very strong and massively built... she just romps all over him and he happily let's her.. soooo funny to watch.. but woe to any other fuzzy that should get ideas about trying it... just his little thin, furless, sweetie... the sister.. the early stages girl... 'Sissie'.. has not progressed further.. she is getting nice fur, no more sores.. gained 8 oz. and is having the time of her life right next to her little sister... both are arrested as far as the adrenal disease is concerned.. and nearly in good enough shape to have surgery... Minnie is most likely bi-lateral and little to be done. but Sissie may be early enough to do something lasting for... both had internal infections.. Minnie was burning up with fever and was on Amoxy for over two weeks to get it reversed.. Sissie turned around in 10 days... both are having the first happy times of their lives.. neither could run or jump or climb when they arrived.. both can do all of that and more now... such sweet kids... and so happy in spite of being so very ill... they are a joy to share my life with... Happy Fuzzys... dayna Please correct your address book for all non compuserve related mail so it goes to my internet mailbox at woozles@ecom.net...thank you..
