Cheryl and the Wrecking Crew,

Our oldest girl(Chuckles) was the same way with every child we brought into
the house. She would pull a full out attack on every new child. We found
out the best solution for us was to put the newcomer in a seperate cage
right up next to the main ferret cage but far enough away that Chuckles
couldn't reach through the bars and bite the curious baby. Give the baby a
piece of bedding (an old t-shirt or something) with your smell on it. In a
few days transfer it to the main cage for the family to get used to the
smell of the baby. Let them all out together and SUPERVISE the "play".
Unless they draw blood the baby is all right!

Give the girls extra attention through this period. In a few weeks you
should have them all sleeping and romping together. It can be done!

Good luck from Mikki & Dee & the Magnificent Seven...
