Dear Friends; I run a recycling program from the "people" hospital where I work (Massachusetts-south of Boston). Recently I have begun shipping some of the medical supplies to ferret shelters across the country. The response has been tremendous and I am swamped! I am looking for a kind soul (or two) who would be willing to take over this end of the program. It would mean picking up supplies from the hospital (every other month would be enough), sorting, packing, and shipping to shelters on the list. Funds for shipping are avail thru the coupon program (I'll give you contact people). A short blurb will appear in the next newsletter for the Mass Ferret Assoc. but I am hoping to reach as many people as possible but posting to the FML as well (only one person who belongs to Mass org. lives on South Shore). I will continue to oversee the programs that donate items to Third World Countries and a local Wildlife Animal Hospital. If anyone is interested in starting a recycling program at their hospital I'd be happy to advise (perhaps we can get more hospitals to give supplies to ferret shelters!) To all the shelters on my list who have been patiently waiting-thank you for being so understanding. I hope to have the program up and running again soon. Peace Karen [Posted in FML issue 1750]
