My husband was reading our Official Netscape Navigator 2.0 manual today and
on page 472, he found a reference for Ferret Central.  It has the address to
Ferret Central and the summary reads as follows:
 
I keep threatening to get one of these WONDERFUL ANIMALS, and after browsing
this site, which includes a thorough FAQ, beautiful photos, and links to
other ferret-related sites, you might want one too.  Remember: THEY ARE NOT
RODENTS!
 
The author is Phil James.  I wonder if he ever did get a ferret.
 
Anyways, I thought that was a pretty good reference.  I think I will fax a
copy to Fish and Game.
