Yes, you have some ferret owners near you, those Ferret Fanciers of Central
Arizona or whatever they're called.  You can't miss them because they're the
ones that put all those fancy hats and bonnets and bandanas on their ferrets
and then put their pictures on the Web.  If you have access to the Web, do a
search for ferrets, and you'll find them.
