Haven't posted in while.... First, I would like to extend my condolences and prayers to Kelleen for the loss of her father. About Ferrets in CA. Yeah, we have 'em here but pls. be CAREFUL. It's real easy to cross the border but what you do afterwards is up to you. I can't really blame the DJ for proclaiming his support...but did he have to admit ownership? There's always "the friend" (no flame intended-maybe I'm naive). At present, my new neighbor is a police officer with wife and new baby. Unfortunately, I can't make friends, they seem real nice, but I won't risk having them over.... Lately, Co-workers have been bothering me about having children (I'm 34). I kept showing them photos of my 4 girls and saying they are the only children I want. Sadly, these women shake their heads at me and proclaim "you're really missing out" (NOT!!!!) ....That's when the idea came to me...Ferrets are fuzzy children in disguise. They require all the attention, care & consideration of 'human' children. Ferrets need love, protection, proper nutrition, medical care and the freedom to be themselves. So, when I read about a Dr. saying that ferrets aren't a good pet choice for children, he MAY be right. IMHO, children aren't mature enough to properly care for other "children". Also, I would heartly agree with the person who said that a child should NEVER be left alone with ANY animal it cannot control. On a personal note, my little Blu has been diagnosed with irritable bowel, any info on this condition would be appreciated, pls e-mail me. Blessings to all the sick kids and those crossing the Rainbow Bridge... -- here's dookin at ya diana and ^--^ ^--^ ^---^ ^----^ @ @ ((=80=80)) <* *> 9 9 \ =3D o =3D \ =3D O=3D \ =3D0 =3D / \-=3D =80=3D- Chloe, Blu, Spice & Chanel [Posted in FML issue 1733]
