I was watching a Turning Point last week titled "Into the minds of animals". In one part, they questioned whether animals knew when their owners were returning home. I say "Yes". I went out of town for the weekend. On Sunday, my husband came home at 4:30 and let Laska out of her cage. She played for 10 minutes then fell asleep in some clothes. At 4:50, I left my mom's house to catch the shuttle back to Tucson. At 5:00, Laska woke up and ran to the front door. She waited there for a few minutes, then ran to my husband. When he reached down to her, she danced away from him and ran to the front door. She did this for 2 hours. At 7, she went under the bed to sleep. At 7:30, my husband left to go get me. As soon as she heard the door open, she ran to it as fast as she could and wouldn't let my husband leave without her. Animals really amaze me with what they do. Dayna and the Woozles> My prayers and love are with you over the loss of a very special little guy. He really loved you and he was the bravest little guy I "knew". I know he'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Jamie L. John [Posted in FML issue 1724]
