Someone mentioned that when ferts have intact scent glands, they do *not*
have such problems with navigating back to a starting point!  Which makes
sense when you consider their ancestors navigated in pitch-black strange
rabbit-tunnels - you couldn't navigate by sight down there, so they used
smell as an alternative?
