MF makes a very good ferret harness which neither of my guys have manageed to slip out of...they are a little pricey ($15.00) but worth it. The gal who has been running our ferret shelter can no longer take in ferrets and has to find new homes for her breeders and babies (50+) as the city has given her till the end of the year. The rest of our fertie club members and very distraught...who will take in the rescues? None of us has the room...but we will manage somehow...however, most of our ferrrets have been exposed to ECE...so we will have to be careful not to "mix" the ferrets...but is there still a risk? If anyone has advice as to how to handle a rescue when they will be in your home until a new home can be found, please e-mail me...one gal who has been taking them in...doesn't seem to give them up!! Her ferret numbers keep increasing!!! Also, if anyone has a good adoption contract or item to definately include, please share them with us...it looks as if we will be strating from scratch.....thanks...... one last thing...a good SUPERVISED that my fertie loves is a small, mylar balloon with a stick on the end whcih people put in flower arrangements, etc. He goes boonkers over it!!! And very rarely gets too excited about anything........ Have you hugged YOUR ferret today? Jodi, "Peanut" (freaky ferret) and "Tyler" (Oh ma,,,do I have to go to the vet for my shots?) /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ | | | Neil and Jodi Mc | | MIS | | [log in to unmask] 137.48.1.8 | | [log in to unmask] | | | \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ [Posted in FML issue 1661]
