Hello fellow ferreters, Thanks for all the toilet talk. I have taken your advice and shut down the porcelain pond. Even though I don't let my fur heads out without supervision, better safe than sorry. Plinkin' however, is not happy. She has been peering in the side longingly, circling over and over, wondering what is the deal. I have probably upset the delicate ferret equilibrium that I have observed. I am just waiting to see what the new fun thing to do will be to replace this revoked activity. When you take one thing away, they must find a new activity to replace it...it is the law of ferret. I tried the tip of putting ferretone on their bellies to clip their nails. The result was astonishing. Plinkin', who can't sit still for a minute, just layed there licking for about 5 minutes! I am planning on trying the rocking trick I saw someone write about tonight when I go home. Anyway, I have another topic that I would like some ideas on. I give my ferrets the Pounce and Wiskas brand cat treats (they only like the liver flavor.) Are these okay for them, and what other kinds of things should I try that "most" ferrets will like (aside from ferretone, raisins and peanut butter)? [Posted in FML issue 1646]
