Hi all,

I too am getting very upset over the price of Totally Ferret. I have seen
it go from $19 when it first came out to the whopping $40 that they are
charging now for a 20 pound bag. I wrote to the Williards and told them I
felt they were in it for the money and not for the ferrets. This was right
after they went up from $29 to $32 a bag. I didn't realize the price hike
when I ordered it and they phoned me asking for the extra three bucks. I
mailed it with my letter. They replied with the usual spiel about them
using only the finest ingredients, blah,blah,blah... They also said the
shipping costs have gone up. They did however return my $3 check which was
nice because I was laid off at the time.

I think we as a whole should send them a message by not buying their product
for awhile but what can we use in the meantime? My fuzzies won't eat the
Marshall Farms food (and I'm not too keen on supporting a ferret mill
either), IAMs had changed their kitten formula a few years back and so isn't
recommended for ferrets, and one of my ferrets has trouble eating the
pelleted type such as Science Diet and the 8 in 1 brand. My female Emma had
an allergic reaction to the 8 in 1 brand. Our choices are somewhat limited
and the Williards know it. Any ideas?

Gary
