In the August/September 1996 edition of Reason Magazine there is an article
by Michael Lynch entitled "Free the Ferrets!".
 
The article is (in my opinion) very well written and focuses on the
absurdity of California's irrational fear of ferrets.
 
I would recommend it to any and all ferret lovers.  Mr. Lynch is a public
policy fellow at the Pacific Research Institute and lists his internet
