Hi everybody, I sure will miss this mailing list over the summer! I travel with my husband and the 6 (now) ferrets in a motorhome for about 6 weeks of the summer. Next year I will definitely have a laptop!! To cage or not: There's no reason to make anyone feel they should have free-roaming ferrets or they're bad ferret parents and there's no reason to cage your ferrets if you're home all day and devoted to your ferrets! It's whatever works for you and your ferrets. Dayna is one special storyteller! Dayna, you can take a situation and make it come to life. You had me on the edge of my seat...are those little girls going to be alright?...I'm graphic oriented...so when you told about the trucker coming into the diner...gripping the two ferrets to his chest...I saw him..I was watching a movie!!! I really enjoy your posts. Especially when they have a happy ending. Have you ever thought of following in Paw paw's steps and becoming a professional writer? Our new little albino (Red-eyed Ruby) is settling in with our boys. She jumps on the boys and gives them what for. It's all play...no one is getting hurt. But she's still a baby..I caught her suckling on Willieboy's ear this afternoon! Picture this..I was refilling a large tupperware container with cheerios and then tried to pour a cup for myself. I thought the top was on securely..not! Cheerios all over the floor..ferrets running from all over to get as many before I could pick them up! All you shelter folks..keep up the good work.
