My "shelter" is for sure always in financial duress! But I persevere. Last Friday 4 newborn kitties whose mom had been killed by a car were shown to us by "a friend of the 80 year old woman who was hysterical at their plight" (Truth or dare?)So my daughter and I took 'em home. What a challenge! One baby girl died after a week. The boys and little sister are growing, but we work full time and have not quite enough time for all the hygiene needs of kitties. Anyway, between the whole family, we might get 'em old enough to litter train. They LOVE their kitty-milk bottles! Sory for non-ferret. Wish they could interact, but ferrets too old and kitties too young. Maybe in a few weeks? (No, better not!) Karen [Posted in FML issue 1594]
